Baltexpo Golden Anchors for Remontowa Holding

At the Baltexpo International Maritime Exhibition, it has become a tradition to award 'Golden Anchors' to the companies, institutions and individuals whose activities and achievements significantly impact economic development. The Jury grants these awards, including experts in the maritime economy and shipbuilding industry.

As many as two Golden Anchors went to the Remontowa Holding Group during the 22nd Edition of the Fair, which took place at Amberexpo in Gdansk from 10 to 12 October 2023.

The Remontowa Shipbuilding yard was awarded for delivering serial mine countermeasure vessels - ORP Albatros and ORP Mewa - to the Polish Navy in the Military category. Dariusz Jaguszewski, CEO of the shipyard, received the prize.

In the category of Maritime Economy Personality, the winner was Adam Ruszkowski, CEO of Remontowa Holding S.A., for: 'successful continuation of Poland's largest shipbuilding group development, according to the vision of its founder, the late Piotr Soyka', as written in the justification.

- I accept this reward as a tribute and appreciation to those who were and still are important to me and our entire community. For me, such a person is the late Chairman Piotr Soyka. He is the greatest personality of the maritime economy, also thanks to the support of his wife, Bogna, who accepted this honourable title for him here two years ago. Personalities include many of my co-workers and shipyard employees, with whom we successfully implemented what Mr Soyka once began and taught us. Thanks to this, the Remontowa Holding group develops and grows, providing work for thousands of our subcontractors. And it will continue to do so,' Adam Ruszkowski said after receiving the award.
